Ayan Mukherjee, Director of the upcoming movie Brahmastra, broke his silence upon lyrics of the song Kesariya, especially the word “love storiyan”.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra’s Director Ayan Mukherjee has finally broke his silence upon the usage of word “Love storiyan” in the song Kesariya. Amid so much tangy conversations about the lyrics, he focused more on the comment which said, it’s like an elaichi in Biryani. Ayan replied, it was more like getting a taste of salt amid too much sweetness.
Kesariya song is sung by Arijit Singh, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is given by Pritam. It is filmed in Varanasi with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kaporr on screen. A video of Ayan Mukherjee was shared where he could be seen replying to this Biryani statement in an interview.
When he was told about how fans have called the usage of ‘love storiyaan’ as elaichi in a biryani, Ayan defended it and said, “We put it with a lot of love, we found it very interesting. We did not find it like elaichi, we thought it was a twist like bahut shakkar me thoda namak jab aata hai, uska ek maza, ek swaad hai (it’s not like a cardamon in biryani, it’s like salt amid too much sugar, it has its own taste). Because the film is a modern film and the lyrics of the song are so traditional and simple, and this would have been a fun twist. I still feel that in some time, people will actually start enjoying it even more.”
Brahmastra is going on-air on 9th September 2022. Amid all this, Fans are eagerly waiting for its release as there’s a big buzz about this movie in Bollywood. Alia and Ranbir are doing the promotion with full swing. Let’s see how much budget this film will set on Box Office.
