Darlings, the upcoming film starring Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah, is set to take the audience on a thrilling journey. The teaser for their much-anticipated project contains all of the elements that would make for a racy ride of dreams and desires, as well as the lengths these two women will go to get things moving in their favour.
The Darlings teaser depicts the world of Alia and Shefali, a mother-daughter duo who live a simple life. However, things are not as they appear in their surroundings. They are women who would go to any length to survive in a man’s world. Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew appear smitten by them, yet suspicious of each other’s presence in their lives, unaware that they are being used as pawns by Alia and Shefali.
Darlings is described as a dark comedy about a mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in Mumbai. They fight against all odds while seeking courage and love in extraordinary circumstances.
Darlings is directed by Jasmeet K Reen and produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma. It features music by Vishal Bharadwaj and lyrics by Gulzar.
