The HC orders Congress leader Pawan Khera to “immediately delete tweet relating to Smriti Irani’s daughter.”

The Delhi High Court has summoned Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera in response to a defamation claim made by Union Minister Smriti Irani. In addition, the court ordered Pawan Khera to take down the tweet in which he claimed Smriti Irani’s daughter was operating the bar with an unauthorised licence. Actually, Smriti Irani’s daughter was charged with operating the bar with an unauthorised licence by both of the leaders during a news conference.

Smriti Irani informed the court that her daughter had no connection to the bar that Congress lawmakers keep bringing up. That bar has been fraudulently linked to her daughter’s name.
Allegations have been made in this case that is false and manufactured. The Delhi High Court has ordered Pawan Khera to promptly delete the offensive tweet on the alleged bar licencing issue. On August 18, there will be another hearing in relation to this case.
The Delhi High Court has summoned Congress leaders Jairam Naresh, Pawan Khera, and Netta D’Souza in the civil defamation action brought by Union Minister Smriti Irani and urged them to appear at the subsequent hearing with a response. Additionally, summonses have been issued for the civil defamation lawsuit.

The Congress targeted the Goa restaurant owned by the daughter of Union Minister Smriti Irani. She is operating a restaurant in Goa under a false licence obtained in the name of a person who passed away 13 months ago, despite the fact that Congress spokesman Pawan Khera had stated that considering the party she belongs to, her daughter should also be quite cultured.
