Pictures of India’s First cable-stayed bridge tweeted by Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw


About 50% project work of Indian Railways on the Anji Khad Bridge under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project is completed.

Several pictures are tweeted by The Union Ministry of Railways featuring the under-construction bridge while sharing the progress report.

“Overcoming the daunting geographical conditions, the construction is going on in full swing,” the ministry stated in the tweet.
The Anji Khad Bridge will connect Katra and Reasi, can be dubbed as an engineering marvel. This bridge will play a leading role in connecting Kashmir to the rest of India within next two years.
