Today, a significant fire started in a private hospital in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In this accident, three persons suffered life-threatening injuries, while 10 people perished. A fire started at the New Life Multispecialty Hospital in Damoh Naka Shivnagar. Hospital employees make up the majority of those who have died. Although the fire has been put out, the hospital remains in a state of chaos. The patients who were hospitalized here have been transferred to other hospitals after being evacuated.
According to Jabalpur Chief Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Gaur, a short circuit at the hospital caused the fire, which extended from the ground level to the third story.
Shivraj Singh, the chief minister, tweeted his sorrow over the incident. He had promised financial assistance to those who died. He said that the families of those who died will receive Rs 5 lakh each. The badly injured will also receive aid for 50–50 thousand rupees at the same time. Along with this, the state government will also bear the cost of complete treatment of the injured.

Jabalpur SP Siddharth Bahuguna confirmed the incident and reported that 4 individuals died immediately from severe burns. Along with this, three individuals who sustained severe burns continue to be in a critical state. Additionally, more than six additional persons suffer injuries. The dead are now being identified.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, has also made a comment on the event. He posted a tweet that a hospital in Jabalpur has got the tragic news of a terrible fire disaster. I am in constant touch with the local administration and collector. The Chief Secretary has been instructed to monitor the situation as a whole. We are making every attempt to provide assistance and rescue.
